DigiDuck – DigiDuck: 3p Renault, all-in digital camping

Hello, I am Jan. Digital adept and fervent world explorer. I am happy to help you on your way for a nice trip with our super equipped DigiDuck. Moreover, there are many options possible (see below).

Short or long trip, far or near, winter or summer, DigiDuck is ideal to go off grid as a Digital Nomad, young couple or hip mother/father/daughter/son combination on holiday or work trip, to stay overnight inconspicuously and to drive safely. Due to its camouflage colours as a workhorse (ex Telenet), it is not to be suspected from the outside that it can also serve as a mobile home.

It is delivered ready to move in and generously equipped, just bring your clothes, sheets and (possibly) food! Two people can sleep comfortably (via two 70 cm wide and 190 cm long mattresses, together a 140 cm wide double bed) and a third person (up to 1m60) can join on a temporary sleeping place via an extra mattress (on request).

Cooking and living
DigiDuck is fully illuminated with LED lights. The trailer is equipped with all the necessities to cook in different ways and where you want (all separate): an electric induction fire and a mini charcoal barbecue for the campsite, a gas fire and gas barbecue for on the road (gas bottles available). Cutlery, plates, cups, pots, pans, and all kinds of kitchen utensils are widely available. You store your food in an absorption refrigerator, which works at the campsite or on separate gas bottles for off-grid camping. A large water tank is available and hot water is available at the campsite (electrical boiler). Small pump tank available for washing up and tap can also serve as an outdoor shower (pop up shower cabin provided). A porta-potti toilet is hidden under a cupboard. Finally, the most common consumables are already provided in the trailer (toilet supplies, eco detergent, eco washing product, herbs).

To sleep
Pillows and duvets in the car are provided. The car has diesel heating for the colder periods.

Digital equipment - DigiDuck specialty
What makes the DigiDuck special is that it has complete digital equipment at your disposal:
- Internet access via 4G modem: unlimited data within Belgium; outside Belgium & within EU 3 gigabyte/day free; be careful with countries outside the EU: no data is possible here unless as an extra service via Starlink satellite internet. This extra service is also possible within the EU, for example for places without 4G reception (see option 3 below)
- Television with Airplay and streaming options in the sleeping area
- 200 Wp solar panels, AGM battery and 700 watt inverter, sufficient power sockets and USB A charging points + outside entrance for power from the campsite (note: the battery currently only charges via the solar panels).

Always present: lots of extra and pleasant camping equipment
In addition, there is a lot of extra camping equipment available to make your trip very pleasant, such as a table + stools, mosquito net, relax chair, extra lights for outside, separate awning. You will receive a complete list when you book.

Also always present: ever heard of France Passion? With this you can spend a night in France for free at many picturesque overnight accommodations, from (wine) farmers to artists. Our car always has an active France Passion subscription and a catalogue in the glove compartment. Are you going on holiday somewhere other than France? Then ask whether we can arrange a subscription for you to a similar formula for the country of your destination, for a small additional charge. Such formulas exist in almost all countries in Europe, except... in Belgium and the Netherlands (see the website of the FEFI, the federation of organisations of the 'invitation formulas'). Additional services/options

Option 1: extra sleeping tent
You can get an extra large Decathlon Quechua 4.1 sleeping tent (inflatable), air mattresses and camp beds for 4 people for a fixed additional amount of 20 euros per day (up to three days), 100 euros per trip (four to ten days) or 200 euros per trip (more than 10 days). Ideal if you are traveling with an extra car and a large family or a group of friends!

Option 2: have your motorhome cleaned upon your return! Don't feel like cleaning inside and out? We understand that all too well after a great holiday! We can clean your motorhome for the advantageous rate of 50 euros, all-in! Inside 25 euros, outside 25 euros.

Option 3: Extended digital service: Internet access and printer
- Extra data 4G modem within EU/outside Belgium: per gigabyte more used volume in EU on top of free volume: 2.5 euros (will be settled via the deposit). Please note that if roaming data costs are incurred outside the EU (Switzerland, Great Britain, Norway), these will be passed on. So also be careful with border areas. Inform me if you plan to travel to a non-EU country or its border areas.
- Starlink satellite internet - coverage everywhere, independent of 4G (antenna to be placed during a stop): 100 euros per trip (from two to thirty days, after that 100 euros for each month started), no data limit
- Mobile HP Deskjet series 3700 color printer/scanner USB A and C connection with ink: 30 euros per trip

Option 4: Bicycle carrier on the tow bar: 10 euros/day (up to three days), 50 euros per trip (four to ten days) or 100 euros per trip (more than 10 days).
