Welcome to the campionette
A Renault master from 2006 converted into a mobile sleeping place.
The common thread through this project is to be able to transport sleeping and bicycles inside. This is to be able to leave bicycles behind in a safe and secure manner when there are other activities on weekends/holidays: visits to a city, hike in the mountains, visits to a restaurant, ... and so the bicycles are also protected against the natural elements.
Since this approach takes up a lot of space, my camper may not be the most luxurious or the most spacious in the range, but it is quite unique in its kind.
Everything is there for us (me and my wife) to be able to go out in reasonable comfort. Although this is relative of course, everyone has their own standards.
A short description:
A bed (high bed) measuring 1.40mx2m has been installed in the loading space. This can sleep 2 people. on a full-fledged mattress (no thin mats or pleated mattresses)
Under the bed is a bicycle garage for 2 racing bikes. This is mounted in a drawer that can be extended to easily unload bicycles (see photos). Bicycles are also transported in their entirety. No hassle with removing wheels, lowering saddles, ....
Furthermore: 4 deep drawers in which clothes, tools, stove, gas can, ... can be stored. The bottom slide in the middle section has room for a small chemical toilet, jerry can for water and some extra space for all kinds of things.
The rear part has a larger space at the bottom to store, for example, a small BBQ and all kinds of supplies.
3 shelves with baskets to store small items.

Short description of the car itself:
A Renault Master II L2H2 from the year 2006. It has a fair amount of km on the odometer but the engine is in excellent condition. Enters the garage every year for inspection and maintenance. The car has roof racks to transport kayaks or other large items, for example. There is a tow bar to set up a bicycle rack (MTB, regular bicycle, ...), functioning air conditioning in the steering cabin, Garmin GPS, Bluetooth (can, .... . Has signs of wear. It is simply an older car). which has survived the test of time. The act of connecting mobile phones at the same time) current consumption for the Euro 3 engine is 8-9L/100km (at 100km/h). The tank contains 100l of diesel. Valid green environmental vignette for Germany available.
Present electronics:
2x100 AH batteries (Victron) + inverter (Victron). Fully charged batteries can last up to 2 days without being connected to the mains. The batteries are also charged while driving. The status and consumption can be monitored via an app or on the available display.
Inverter supplies max 500W. Optionally, a mobile 400W (bluetti) solar panel can also be connected.
DIY: Do it yourself. This bus was built by ourselves. It's not professional, there's always something to change and upgrade. So don't expect a polished camper. But something that lives.
