Big Lio – 2024 Ford Transit Converted

Hey! We are Amy & Milan. In 2024 we converted my dad's (Steven) work van into a campervan. We put blood, sweat & tears into the project for three weeks, but it turned out to be more than worth it. After this we left for a 4 month trip through Scandinavia & the Balkans with our 'Big Lio'. We fell in love with roadtripping and would like to share this happiness with other people, which is why we now also rent out the Lio.

Some highlights of our campervan

- Partly retractable bed to create more space inside without having to remake your bed every time.
- 2 x 100 Ah lithium batteries that charge while driving and with shore power.
- 230V sockets
- 40L water tank + tap
- 60L fridge with freezer compartment
- Euro 6 Diesel car that is economical in consumption
- We worked as much as possible with high-quality recycled materials
- The car has CarPlay, 1 USB port & 1 USB-C port to charge devices while driving.
- A third sleeping place can be created by converting the seats into a bed. In this case you lie in the width (1m75), so this is not a good option for tall people but perfect for someone of 1m65 (like me)
- The camper is well insulated thermally and acoustically, so it has a comfortable interior climate. If you still want extra cooling in the summer, we provide a fan.
- There is plenty of cupboard space in the back & inside the camper so you have plenty of room to store personal items.
