Ford Transit MK1 Autohome 1976 – Fordje Rinus '76

This pig's face from 1976 is our pride. Little Rinus snorts along wonderfully relaxed at a speed of 80 km on the Dutch roads. The previous owner treated this camper with love for 40 years and that makes this camper so unique. We have had Ford Rinus for five years now and everything, even the radio, we leave original as this camper was purchased in 1976. Don't expect luxury, but the feeling of really going back to the seventies. You can store all your stuff in the alcove and if necessary also under the benches. There is also a small hanging cupboard for clothes. The soft sheepskins provide a warm welcome and if it gets a bit chilly in the evening there is a lovely electric heater that heats the cozy space in no time. The kitchen is equipped with a 12v tap with 25l water tank, complete set of pans, toaster, orange juicer, etc. Camping chairs, cutlery, crockery, drinking utensils, etc. is furnished for four people, so you can receive visitors if necessary. For sanitary emergencies there is a mobile toilet, just sit a bit creatively :). For some extra entertainment there are various old games and for those who want to look up something about nature there are various nature books on the shelf including the green book for nature campsites so you can also go there. We enjoy our beautiful province of Drenthe ourselves and there are also a few nice books available about this. Of course the matching linen is also available and can be used to stay completely in style. And of course not to forget a BBQ and fire basket for the cozy outdoor moments.

GOOD TO KNOW:
1. Do you want to take 2 bikes? No problem, you can put them in the camper via the back door. If you prefer to put the bikes on your own bike rack, we will mount the tow bar.
2. Rinus gets a spring service every year, is far from retired and can still handle the whole world, but we don't want to take him on very long trips anymore. A quick tour to Spain is unfortunately not an option. Our camper can be used in the Netherlands or Germany, up to about 300 km from our home in Vries. If you want to go a bit further away, this is possible in consultation,
3. Unfortunately, the complete inventory list could not be placed via the photos, but we can send it to you as a PDF.
4. You can park your own car free of charge in a public parking lot in front of our door during the rental period. Of course at your own risk.
