With this electric camper you can travel around in peace. This VW e-Crafter has an unobtrusive appearance and a spacious interior. There is a fixed toilet that is placed at the very back and next to it a fixed bed lengthwise. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, sink and a large induction hob with one cooking zone. It is possible to cook on this with two pans. The heating is also electric, so a gas bottle is unnecessary. All equipment is powered by a large household battery and an inverter. This way you can also camp for a few days without a power connection. If you want to charge the batteries, a power connection of only 6 amps is sufficient, even if you want to use the hob at that time.
There are many storage options in the interior where you can find pans, plates, cutlery, kettle and a thermos, among other things. We will also provide you with an awning, charging cable, charging cable with CEE plug, extension cable, table and chairs.
The camper has environmental stickers for Germany and France. With these two stickers you can enter all environmental zones in almost all of Europe. This large electric camper has a battery with 35.8 kWh usable capacity. The range (NEDC) is 173 kilometers. In the summer, 120 kilometers can easily be achieved, especially on provincial roads and in the city. Charging from 20% to 80% takes approximately 30 minutes with a fast charger. We drive approximately 300 km per day on the first and last days of a holiday, and approximately 150 km on the days in between.
You will receive all charging cables, including one for camping, which is adjustable in power and equipped with a kWh meter.
When you pick it up, we explain how everything works, including charging at the charging station, fast charger and at the campsite. You will receive the camper with a full battery and water tank.
You need a charging card or app to charge on the go at a fast charger or charging station. These can be requested free of charge, but sometimes it is even cheaper with a pass with subscription. (For example: The Tesla subscription only costs €9.99 per month and you can charge at a lower rate; in the Netherlands it often costs less than €0.25 per kWh.)
We can advise you on the choice of charging cards, but it is also possible to borrow some charging cards from us. We do charge administration costs for this because it is necessary to find out who should be invoiced for each charging session.
Because we need some time to get the camper ready for the next tenant, the pick-up time is 3:00 PM and the return time is 11:00 AM. If there is no tenant for you, the camper can be picked up at 1:00 PM by arrangement. If there is no tenant coming after you, the camper does not have to be returned until 1:00 PM.
