We are the proud owners of this self-build camper.
We have invested a lot of time, money and energy in recent years to build a tiny house on wheels from a simple van. And every time we come up with updates to improve comfort. For example, the passenger seat will soon be made rotatable and drawers for kitchen utensils will be added.
Why do we rent?
We are very careful with our 'hobby' and maintain it well so that it remains optimal. We do not rent it out as a revenue model, but to keep the costs of annual maintenance and insurance low so that we can finance it for a number of years longer (After the generous skimming from Goboony, an amount remains with which we can reduce the annual maintenance to a minimum). minimum wishes).
We also hope that it will also open a door to like-minded people who enjoy camping in a camper as much as we do. We are happy to tell you about the ins and outs of the camper (construction), even if you do not book with us you can always send a message ;).
Below we have written out what is included for each part. Maybe we have forgotten something, please send a message with your question.
Electricity:
This camper has an extensive electrical installation with its own battery and solar panels, mains power and USB + USB-C connections. Although it does not have four-wheel drive and is therefore not made for off-road adventures, you can easily go one or more days without charging at a campsite. If used properly, you do not have to order additional electricity at the campsites.
Water:
There is a 60 liter clean water tank in the bus and a 20 liter waste water tank, it is only cold water. Electric tap ensures that you always have running water. And so there is a sink in the kitchen sink.
Kitchen:
There are 2 gas burners that are connected with a Campingaz connection. The Campingaz gas tank is not included in the rental, but if you don't have one yourself, I am always happy to think about it.
Climate:
There is a strong exhaust fan in the roof that allows you to cool down the camper in the summer months. In the winter months we have a heater that runs on diesel. You can heat it quite warm with this (we tried it in Norway last Christmas).
Refrigerator:
There is a refrigerator under the bed, which is surprisingly spacious and can accommodate enough to store food for several days. You can say anything about it, but this is a nice thing!
Storage:
There is plenty of storage under the bed. You can reach this from outside through the rear doors. You can store crates of stuff, folding chairs, etc. here, and there is also lighting.
There is also storage above the driver's cockpit, where you can store your clothing bags, and there is storage under the 2 seating areas, under the kitchenette and a small storage area in the step to the driver's cockpit. So enough!
Additional matters:
-We have installed a simple screen with a reversing camera, which provides a lot of peace of mind when parking;)
-Lighting is dimmable
-the mattress is great! There is also a set so that you can level the car horizontally on camping sites with a slope, which makes sleeping more peaceful;).
See you soon?
Greetings, Synnøve & Tom
