Strange way of doing business and very customer unfriendly:
We rented a camper with 4 friends to go to the Formula 1 in Germany. We had a strict requirement: air conditioning in the living area. After having arranged everything properly in December and having paid the last payment properly according to the conditions, we discovered that the air conditioning had been crossed out according to the advertisement. After having sent an email to the landlord, we received the response that it had become defective, which can of course happen but is a major setback, especially if we had to find out for ourselves. Then when we expected a nice compensation for this, we received the response: you can make a drama out of it?? In other words take it or leave it, we were allowed to cancel 'free' or received a 5% discount. Another camper would no longer be an option if you have to leave within a few weeks. Contacted Goboony and were politely spoken to and mediated, and still came to an 'acceptable' compensation.
The journey began, it was promising because the part of the air conditioning was still ordered (strange since it could not be repaired) and arrived by post at that time. The part could also still be installed, we were very happy since it would be over 40 degrees. Unfortunately it was to no avail, the air conditioning broke down after all. So without air conditioning after all.
Arriving at the campsite we were glad that we had prepared well: brought our own chairs (the chairs that were included were bad and not comfortable) and a groundsheet (this was not included). The inventory was downright bad. The table that was included was very small, while it is a 6 person camper. All in all a real camper for rent.
The roof started with a rain shower also too nice from the air conditioning (which seems to be normal). Because of this there was a puddle in the middle of the camper, can't be good?
One of the blackout curtains was stuck with duct tape. It closed very poorly, if at all.
After having had a wonderful weekend (Max was number 1) we returned the camper exactly on time at the agreed time. When the landlady checked the camper she discovered that there was a tear under both tables? This while we had not even used one of the tables. But hey, it is also quite a coincidence that they have the same type of tear in both tables? The frame of the glued blackout curtain was also broken, the screws were even missing and we would have broken it with brute force. We doubt this because there were also different screws. When we tried to talk about this, the landlady flipped out almost immediately by starting to shout, there was no talking to her. We let it rest and at the end of the evening we received an email that 35 euros would be charged.
The next day I contacted Goboony again, was spoken to politely again and said they would mediate. Unfortunately the landlady stuck to her guns and Goboony could not do anything about it. Nevertheless, we came to a good agreement with Goboony.
Conclusion: renting a camper from Goboony is recommended, but DEFINITELY do not do this with this rental company.

je maakt er nogal een cowboy verhaal van. Ik heb niet geschreeuwd, ik heb alleen duidelijk gecommuniceerd dat ik slechts constateer dat er gebreken zijn die er voor vertrek nog niet waren. Ik weet hoe mijn camper was toen ik hem mee gaf en controleer deze nadien ook altijd op dezelfde manier.
Ik kreeg als reactie van jullie dat ik niet had laten zien dat deze heel was bij vertrek..... Nee natuurlijk niet ik kan toch ook niet alles laten zien wat toen heel was, daar ga ik vanuit want dat heb ik bij terugkomst van de vorige huurder gecontroleerd! kijk... hier zit een schroefje in, en deze tafel is heel, oh en hier in de badkamer is ook alles heel, zitten geen scheurtjes in. Je snapt best dat het op die manier niet werkt.
Je trekt ook eea uit verband, jij schreef dat je vond dat ik nogal makkelijk reageerde, daarop heb ik geantwoord dat er een heel drama van maken geen zin heeft en dat ik daarom kort maar duidelijk mijn antwoord formuleer. Daarna heb ik ook nog gezegd dat ik het ook erg vervelend vond dat de airco kapot was gegaan.
De stoelen en kleine tafel heeft u op de foto's van de camper kunnen zien, dat zijn de stoelen die we kwijt kunnen in de beperkte ruimte die er onder het stapelbed in de garage is. Ik snap nu dat u een grote loungeset verwachtte...…
De airco hebben wij getracht te repareren, en ik heb aan jou alsook aan goboony gecommuniceerd dat er werd gezegd dat de hele unit vervangen diende te worden, en dat waren we idd niet van plan te gaan doen. we hebben onderdelen besteld in de hoop dat door deze te vervangen het probleem zou zijn opgelost, helaas bleek dat voor dat weekend niet gelukt te zijn.
