Land Rover Discovery with rooftop tent

After purchasing my Laro, I am constantly working on further developing the car and the set-up! During and after each trip, ideas and solutions come along that are incorporated into the car. After purchasing the roof rack, the rooftop tent and the awning, the car was ready for adventures! And with the construction of a kitchen unit, the next step has already been taken. I bought the car as a 5-seater, but quickly built in a third row of seats to create 7 seats.

Roof tent
The roof tent (with mattress; 160 x 220) offers the possibility to sleep with 3 adults (or as in my case, 1 adult and 3 children) on the car. There is also an undertent that can be easily hung up, so that you have more privacy and more space to store things dry. Setting up the tent is quite simple and done within 10 minutes.

Awning
On the side of the car is an awning that folds out 270 degrees. This allows you to set up ample protection against sun or rain in a few minutes. Because the awning falls over the back of the car, you are always cooking dry. The awning also has side walls. I mainly use these myself when I am standing in one place for a longer period of time and want to create more outdoor space. Even when it is a bit colder outside, it is nice to use the walls.

Kitchen
In the trunk is a kitchenette with a fridge (works on 12v for driving and 220v for camping) and a 2-burner gas cooker. So you are always provided with hot food and cold drinks! There is also sufficient storage space for groceries and supplies, and for the inventory of the kitchen.

5 or 7 seater
If it is necessary to create more seating space, two additional seats can be created by removing the kitchenette.

Tow bar
The car is equipped with a tow bar and with the maximum towing weight of 3500kg there is little that cannot be towed. Please note that a BE driving license is required for self-braking trailers.
