About our lovely motorhome...
Travel and Adventure in style with our modern 4-berth motorhome. Located in Bournemouth on the edge of the New Forest, Jurassic Coast and the Solent makes it easy to jump in and explore. Perfectly suited for families with a large double over-cab bed and two full-size singles. Fully equipped with shower and toilet, oven and hob, fridge freezer, two tv/dvds and heaps of storage including a full-width garage and rack for four bikes. Our 2018 motorhome has a 6-speed gearbox and a comfortable cab for driving. We have recently come back from a 5 month trip around Europe and the motorhome layout, functionality and comfort made our trip incredibly enjoyable! You won't be disappointed, you'll have a fantastic adventure...
Our goal is to make sure you have a comfortable and memorable adventure!
LOCAL DELIVERY:
Looking to stay in the New Forest or Dorset? We can deliver, set up and then collect from a campsite that you have booked for an extra charge so when you arrive you can save time and get on with your stay and adventure!
Parking:
You are more than welcome to leave your vehicle with us for no extra cost. It can stay where the motorhome is usually parked.
Sleeping:
At the moment we are asking guests to bring their own duvets and pillows.
The two full-size single beds at the back of the motorhome work perfectly for children and adults alike. The top bunk has its own tv/dvd so the sprogs could watch a film while you relax in the living area with a drink, which also has its own tv/dvd.
The bottom bunk lifts up so you can access stuff in the garage if needed.
The top bunk has a safety net that stops children from rolling out when asleep, and we also have one for the bottom bunk if needed.
The top bunk is accessed by a removable ladder.
The over-cab bed is large and feels more like a kingsize. You climb up a ladder to get in and once up can admire the views from the windows which are about 3 meters high. We usually sleep better in our motorhome bed than we do in our own home bed. It's fab!
Living area:
Leather seats and enough comfortable room for 4, which can be made into a six-seater too, although a bit of a squash. The tv/dvd can be comfortably watched from the seating area. The table can also be moved or lowered down if you wish making it a versatile space.
There is a large wardrobe for your clothes, bags shoes and hanging stuff up too. There are also a large storage cupboards for all your other bits and bobs.
Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs. There is a 3 hob burner, oven, and grill. We have all the kitchen clobber too, like saucepans, wok, pizza tray, steamer, kettle and all the utensils.
We also have an electric hotplate which works great when hooked up to electricity. And we also supply an electric BBQ that can be used outside of the motorhome when cooking up a nice tasty dinner.
Gas/cooking/heating:
Usually, you will be plugged into electricity on-site which powers all the heating, air-con, hot water, and fridge/freezer. However, we also have a "gas low" system that uses LPG if you're not plugged in which supplies all of the above too.
Plug sockets:
There are various power sockets and USB ports for charging all of your phones, tablets, laptops etc.
Air Conditioning:
Yep! Not many motorhomes in the UK come with habitation area air conditioning. This has been invaluable for us on quite a few occasions. It got to 43 degrees Celsius when we were in the south of France once, needless to say, we were sitting comfy and cool.
Fridge with separate freezer:
The fridge is large with plenty of space for all your food needs. There is also a large pull-out draw that fits about ten bottles of wine, or other drinks of course.
The separate freezer compartment is handy for making ice and keeping lots of ice cream. Ideal.
Outside:
In the garage, you will find an outside table and a couple of reclining chairs, and other handy things so you can dine or relax as much as possible outside the motorhome as well as inside.
Unfortunately, the awning is not usable anymore. Too many incorrect uses.
The garage is huge and we often take stand-up paddleboards, kitesurfing equipment, wetsuits, children's scooters, and other fun adventure gear. There is loads of space.
The bike rack can easily accommodate four adult bikes.
Driving:
This is a modern vehicle with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Driving is very comfortable and smooth. It has a rearview camera too.
Please Ask Questions:
Strictly no dogs or pets.
If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to get in touch. We've had first-time motorhome'ers as well as experienced people, but overall our aim is to make sure you have a comfortable and memorable adventure.
