Winter is approaching and to help take the potential blues away, why not set off for some time away from your usual life? Work remotely whilst away or enjoy the changing season - snuggle up in the van and enjoy the patter of rain on the roof.
This is a great motorhome for Caravan Parks (hook up to electricity) or if you want to go 'WILD' this van has solar power and gas to run everything you'll need.
UNLIMITED WiFi - Roaming 4G/5G is included.
EASY ACCESS from Heathrow & Central London.
Take Eddie out for a holiday - park up by the beach, in a forest, by a lake, or on top of a mountain. Eddie has solar power to run your laptop/s, and a cellular WIFI system that will pick up and boost regular cell phone signals.
Or how about trying the ultimate freedom of 'WORKING FROM HOME' - in this case a home on wheels!!
I have set it up so you have everything you need for a fun and relaxed holiday. Even though it is 'big', it is easy to drive and handles pretty much like a car - although you have the fun feeling of sitting up like a bus driver :)
Eddie is 4 berth : Perfect for a couple or family with up to two small children. The rear bed is 196cm x 140cm (with tapered corner). The middle bed is assembled from sofa cushions and is 200cm x 127cm.
It is parked up near Walton on Thames - usually around a 30min / £30-£40 Uber from Heathrow, or about 30mins by train from Waterloo to Hersham station (then a 5min taxi ride to where Eddie is stored and waiting).
Even if you can only get 3G, there's a very good chance (*see note below*) the signal can be amplified to give good enough speeds for most things you would want to do on the internet (besides huge file down/uploads, data heavy streaming, etc).
Below I've outlined the main things about 'Eddie' to help answer some potential questions you may have;
Comforts:
- Permanent 'French' double bed with inner-spring mattress - I would call it 'firm'. (The bed hinges up to access a large storage area underneath)
- 'Living' area including folding table (converts to the 2nd double bed). There is enough seating (very cosy) for six people - including front two seats which swivel around to face the living area.
- Internal shower, sink, and toilet (chemical cassette type - don't be put off it's really not that bad)
Tech:
- 4G/5G Wifi system which will pick up and boost regular cellular signals (PLEASE NOTE: No signal = No Wifi). Connect multiple devices.
- 200W Solar panels to charge the leisure battery (for 12V low voltage items)
- 1600W Power inverter - turns 12V into 240V for low power consumption items like laptops, etc (won't handle hairdryers, etc)
- Television (has HDMI input for *YOUR* Fire Stick/ ChromeCast etc) with telescopic roof mounted antenna
- Sat Nav
- Bluetooth music connection (in fact I've fitted an in-dash unit which is like an Android iPad - you can connect your own phone and/or access music, YouTube, Apps, etc)
- Dual reversing cameras (one looks 'out' for highway driving, the other looks 'down' for parking)
Accessories included:
- Tyre 'Wedges' for levelling the van on sloping pitches/sites

NOTE REGARDING MOBILE SIGNAL & INTERNET:
* I have travelled widely around the UK and Scotland and whilst there are certainly 'dead spots' for mobile signal - even in areas where you would expect lighting fast 4G, in general I was able to find and get enough signal for working - emails, web browsing, etc. Of course I CANNOT GUARANTEE you a mobile signal, so please bear that in mind!
