We are perfectly located to explore Cornwall: north coast, The Lizard, West Penwith and the Roseland Peninsula are all within easy reach. We are 15 minutes from Truro and Falmouth, 30 minutes from Newquay and 40 mins from St Ives and Penzance.
Our van is a traditional overcab with standing room for tall people throughout. Up top above the cab there's a double bed that children love with access via a ladder. There's a safety net (in the picture it's down but runs across the gap when hooked up). The lounge/sleeping area comfortably sits four for meals when the weather is too inclement to eat outside (the table, not pictured, fits between the parallel seats). The lounge area is lovely and spacious if you are chilling inside. The sitting area converts to a spacious single or wide double, and there's a single sleeping area too which means that the van can actually sleep 5. However there are only four seat-belted seats so we advertise it for four.
In the lounge area there's a TV with DVD player. (There is also a satellite receiver but this is currently disconnected.) The lounge area features 7 spacious head-height cupboards. Between the lounge and the kitchen is a storage cupboard (pictured) that is used for the outside chairs and table. There's enough space in here for light items such as coats in addition to the chairs. There's under-seat storage for heavier items like wetsuits.
At the rear of the van is the kitchen area. This has a four-burner gas hob, oven, and grill. Perfect for cooking even quite complex meals. We supply a range of pans, plastic crockery, cutlery and utensils. The fridge is powered by gas, electricity from hook up or from the van battery when driving. The gas fridge, coupled with solar panels to charge the double leisure batteries, mean that you can live completely off-grid in some remote and isolated camp sites - all you'd need is water.
The bathroom has a sink and the tap head extends to turn into a shower. There is a Thetford toilet with removable chemical tank (which has wheels so that taking it to be emptied is easier). There is a heater for hot water and a gas heater too which quickly turns the van delightfully warm & cosy within a few minutes on cold mornings.
Outside there's an awning and a night light. We also provide a table and four chairs. There's a bike rack with space for three bikes (you might spot in the picture an odd extension to one of the racks - this is for a tandem but would be replaced with the regular rack when you hire it). There is a reversing camera.
Although it's 2005 you can see from the photos it's in great condition and kept clean. It drives well, happy to sit at 70mph (slower up the hills on the A30 though!) and does not feel wide or long when you are in it - we've been all over Cornwall in it.
We are flexible regarding pick up, and have a private drive in a quiet village to leave your car in. Or feel free to get the train down and we can pick you up from Truro Station. Alternatively it might be possible to drop off the motorhome at a campsite of your choosing within 15 mile (appx) radius of Truro.
Please feel free to message with any questions. I'm quick to reply.
