An Unforgettable Adventure with Sweet Pea! My husband and I recently had the pleasure of hiring Sweet Pea from Hayley for a trip to Glastonbury, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Here’s why I believe hiring Sweet Pea is a must-try adventure: 1. Great Communication: Hayley was excellent with her communication. She responded quickly to all our inquiries, and her pleasant demeanor made the entire process a breeze. 2. Convenient Pick-Up: Collecting Sweet Pea was very easy as the location is just off the M3. This made it convenient for us to start our journey without any hassle. The pick-up process was smooth, and Hayley explained how to operate the motorhome and its features. 3. Perfect Size and Comfort: Sweet Pea was the perfect size for the two of us. The motorhome was lovely and clean, and driving it was surprisingly easy. The seats in the motorhome made up into a comfortable bed. There's a kitchenette with fridge and a clean, private bathroom. 4. Respecting the Motorhome: One important thing to note is that motorhomes are made with lightweight materials that can be easily damaged. It’s crucial to respect this while hiring. Unfortunately, previous hirers had damaged Hayley's front door fly screen and table, which was disappointing to hear. As responsible hirers, it’s essential to treat the motorhome with care to maintain its condition for future users. 5. Perfect for Glastonbury: Taking Sweet Pea to Glastonbury was perfect. The motorhome provided a comfortable and convenient base for us to enjoy the festival. While Hayley does have restrictions on who can hire her motorhome for festivals, as long as you are old enough, responsible, and aware of how to respect the motorhome, it’s a fantastic option. 6. Overall Experience: Our overall experience with Sweet Pea was memorable and enjoyable. Conclusion: Hiring Sweet Pea from Hayley was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and adventurous way to travel. Hayley’s excellent communication, the convenience of pick-up, and the comfort of the motorhome made our trip to Glastonbury unforgettable. Just remember to treat the motorhome with respect to ensure it remains in great condition for future hirers.

Things to do in England

As it is such a big and varied country, there are many things to do in England during your campervan or motorhome holiday. Why not tackle the northern country roads of the Lake District to visit Hill Top house where Beatrix Potter wrote her seminal works or navigate your way through the dramatic Peak District landscape to Bakewell and try an authentic Bakewell tart. Or in the south west make your way through the famous Cheddar Gorge, said to have inspired Tolkien’s Middle Earth and enter the caves beneath for a subterranean adventure. You will be hard pressed to run out of interesting things to do!

Events in England

There is a world class offering of events in England and you do not have to take your campervan to a big city to find one. The diverse and vibrant festival scene offers the globally renowned Glastonbury festival with top international music artists, but there are also many other smaller and more intimate options. Elderflower Fields festival, Ashdown Forest, is designed specifically for families with children offering sports, arts, music, food and much more, all in the great outdoors. There are also many food festivals where visitors can savour delicious local produce, from the obscure Isle of Wight Garlic Festival celebrating all things garlic to the larger Feastival, founded by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and former Blur bassist Alex James, in the charming Cotswolds’ countryside.
