Schiehallion – 4 berth Volkswagen T6 pop-top camper

This is a very high spec campervan built by All Seasons Leisure.

This is the platinum edition which means it has the upgraded 160bhp engine, drop down TV/dvd player, 22in alloys, bodykit and lowered suspension.

It has a memory foam R.I.B bed and memory foam mattress in the pop-top.

It has attractive grey leather interior and is a real eye catcher.

The kitchen has a sink, gas hob, microwave and fridge.

There is a portaloo and toilet pop-up tent. There is also a slide-on inflatable awning and 2 bike rack which can be hired as well.

The van will come with camping chairs and all kitchen utensils.

Please note that we can provide fully comprehensive insurance, but will require you will need to send us copies of your driving licence at least 2 working days to get this arranged for you. We will inform you of the insurance costs once we have them back from the insurer as it varies depending on age, points on licence etc. It's generally around £25 per day additional to the daily hire cost.

We will require a £1000 holding deposit to be approved at the time of collection. This will be in the form of cash or bank transfer which will be released on your return so long as the vehicle comes back undamaged. This is a requirement by our self-drive hire insurance provider.

We strongly advise that you take out an policy excess insurance with rentalcover.com to cover your costs in the unlikely event that you need to make a claim. We can assist you with this when you arrive as the cost of doing this via Goboony can be quite expensive for you.

A copy of your driver’s licence and any other named drivers will need to be sent to our company email address at least 7 days before your hire period.

Driving Licence, Health & History

Drivers must be over 23 years of age and under 75, in good health and hold a Full UK, EU, AU, US, CA, NZ & SA licence types driving licence.

Drivers should have no mental or physical disabilities which would interfere with their ability to drive, for example stroke/deafness/heart condition/diabetes/loss of limb/loss of sight in an eye/epilepsy. In addition, you must not be taking drugs likely to affect your driving or drugs prescribed by a registered medical practitioner for treatment of drug addiction.

You will need to have held a UK driving licence for at least 2 years or a European Union licence for at least 2 years. We will require the driving licence numbers and other identification information for all those who intend to drive, when a booking is made. We will need to see the driving licenses for all named drivers, plus two other forms of identification such a passport and a recent utility bill, dated within the last 90 days of your hire period, prior to the collection of the vehicle. These must be original photo cards. The proofs of address must have the same address as present on the driving licence.
