Thanks for popping by to have a look - C'mon Eileen!
C'mon Eileen began life as a 2014 Ford 460 minibus and was owned by the Sea Cadets back in England although hardly used (insert sad face). With a low mileage he was lovingly converted into a 2 berth spacious camper van and purchased by Richard in late May 2022.

C'mon Eileen lives in Dalgety Bay, Fife (Scotland) on a residential development where there is ample safe and free parking for your vehicle. She is less than 5 mins away from Junction 1C of M90 motorway (the gateway to the North of Scotland, just opposite the famous Forth Rail Bridge and Queensferry Crossing).
Both Dalgety Bay and Inverkeithing train stations are less than 5 mins away. . . . . where possible Richard will happily pick up/drop off new friends.
Edinburgh airport is a 30 minute taxi drive from our home. We can arrange your taxi with a reliable firm that we use all the time. The cost is about £50 GBP one way and you pay the driver.
Oh there is an M&S petrol station, an Aldi and an Asda supermarket within 3 minutes drive of her home.
When you pick up the campervan I will show you all you need to know about how everything works, as well as providing a welcome pack (prior to the booking) with full instructions to take with you. I am contactable 24hrs a day if you need help.
So what will you need for an adventure with C'mon Eileen?
- Food/drink/washing up stuff (See above local shops and please plan as if you are going on a camping trip)
- She is not an off grid van and I recommend a campsite booking. The leisure batteries which are separate from the engines main battery, charge whilst driving and last days. More driving = more power! I advise booking a night at a campsite to hook up, charge the batteries (but not essential) and use their facilities (shower or to empty the chemical toilet)
- Fuel (she'll be filled up with a full tank of premium quality diesel (more miles per gallon) and must be returned full)
- Travel to/from Dalgety Bay, Fife, Scotland
If you have any questions or need anything extra please send a message.
