August 2024
Response from Raymond Hi Stephanie. First of all I apologise for the missing double sheet for the middle bed, an oversight on our side. Regarding your comment about the motorhome being old, this is something that isn't hidden and clearly stated the age of the vehicle on our advert. To mention it in a review is quite poor in my opinion. The one fly net that has been removed due to damage was mentioned on pick up and for the size of the window it 'affected' again is a surprise that merited commenting on in a review. For the middle bed (dinette fold out) I think is commen sense someone at 6 foot won't stretch out fully, your choice to give the large bed to your kids is your own choice and again unfair to mention in a review. For the lock on the door, as mentioned our motorhome was broken into and a new lock fitted. We will look to secure the lock barrel, I'm not sure why it came out after just being installed. I am not sure what window you refer to that doesn't open as all are fully functioning. Hopefully on your next trip you aren't as harsh in your comments for things that are clearly mentioned in the person's advertisement.

We recently rented a caravan for a family trip to Mull and the Highlands, and it was an great experience from start to finish. This caravan met all our expectations, the description and photos were accurate and this was a great value summer holiday. We all slept comfortably, with space for everyone. The middle bed, while a bit snug, was perfectly suitable for our youngest (3years). The quality of the bedding and towels provided was very good. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary utensils and appliances, making it easy to prepare meals during our trip. A special thanks to the owners for their excellent communication throughout the booking and hiring process. They were incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring everything went smoothly and answering all our questions promptly. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this caravan rental for families looking to explore Scotland! August 2024

The motorhome is in a noticeably worn condition, and the equipment has not been well-maintained. Several minor issues that could have been easily repaired are non-functional and quite frustrating. The door does not close smoothly, the tap is loose, the mosquito nets are torn, the camping table is inadequate, and the chairs are unsuitable for a camper. Additionally, I forgot to take a picture of the rental agreement, and unfortunately, the owner altered our agreement after I left, resulting in extra charges that were not previously agreed upon. I find this to be absolutely dishonest and very disappointing. July 2024
Response from Raymond As mentioned when you returned the motorhome, part of the agreement was for you to empty the grey water tank. You said you would do it before you left so it was not written on the paperwork, then you left without emptying it. So yes you where charged for it. Also you ripped 2 chairs and complained that at times you had to push the door a bit harder to close so you shouldn't have to pay to replace the chairs. As mentioned in the advert the motorhome is not brand new it is a 2008 model so there are going to be minor things that aren't quite up to the standards of a new motorhome. We have already upgrading the motorhome where we can.

I'm not a seasoned motor home user so I have nothing to compare to. My husband and I were with my daughter, her partner and my grand daughter. Ray was great to deal with right from the beginning. He always responded promptly and in a friendly courteous manner. I felt confident that we were going to enjoy our holiday. We travelled up to the Highlands of Scotland, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. We didn't go off grid so I can't comment on that aspect. We stayed at campsites and it was easy to hook up and to empty all the waste water etc at the end of each stay. I was massively impressed at the speed at which the hot water heated up! There were a couple of issues that we contacted Ray about and he responded promptly. The motor home itself was comfortable, a bit tight for 5 of us, and also a little bit tired, but nothing prevented us from enjoying our holiday with our family. April 2024

We had an amazing trip. The motorhome had a few things that needed repair, but we were able to have a happy trip with three kids without a problem. Everything we needed was available. August 2023

We spent a fabulous week in Scotland. The motorhome was really well equipped with everything one could need. The cleanliness and order when we picked it up was impeccable. The camper was manageable to drive and very intuitive to use in its functions. In addition to the exhaustive explanation of the owner (kind, friendly and reliable) there was a detailed instruction booklet. We will definitely consider this motorhome if we return to Scotland. Thanks again for pampering us like this with a super organized mini house! May 2023

Good morning. We rented Ray's motorhome. Everything went very well. Ray and his wife are very nice, everything was ready when we picked up the motorhome, beds, sheets, towels etc... Ray is very relative if you have any questions. We had a very good stay in this large motorhome. Thank you, I recommend May 2023

Where to begin? Van and host were outstanding. Any wee question was seriously answered and we asked some while away and he was super prompt to help put our mind at ease, it felt like taking a van from family seriously put us at ease. The van itself. We were able to go off grid in it. Perfect. Had everything we needed, bunks made up, beds made up. Linen provided, even towels. The kettle was beautiful 😍 We had a dog amd he removed the carpets so again made us more relaxed and looked after tha van too. Had built in sat nav, a proper campervan one it woukd list nearby places to stay! Digital radio. Cruise control. It was a dream. Engine was top notch we took it to some seriously steep incline right up north and it was great. Didn't eat fuel. I was surprised at how good it was, not that I cared cos we needed away and boy did this deliver. There was a wee hamper for us too we never expected, some games we played with the kids too in the van. Honestly can't praise them enough this was a dream wee get way sorely needed and every wee detail was covered for us. Can't recommend enough. March 2023

We hired Raymond's motorhome to explore the highlands. This was a trip we wanted to do for some time now and it was so much more special doing it in the motorhome. The countryside is stunning, a feast for the eyes from start to finish! Having the motorhome meant we could drive for as long as we wanted and pull up and stop in the most picturesque spots, make lunch and take it all in before driving on to the next amazing spot. The whole experience was so relaxed and hassle free from our very first communication with Raymond and Lynsey. We got a train from Edinburgh to Stirling where Lynsey met us at the train station and gave us a lift to the motorhome lockup, showed us around and how everything worked and left nothing out. These guys have thought of everything! The van is totally set up with everything you would need, they even had a set of wine glasses which was a lovely touch..... Lynsey left us the most lovely welcoming basket of goodies, the smores and prosecco were a big hit, thank you so much Lynsey! We are a family of four and it was a perfect size. Its easy to drive, park and get around and very easy on fuel. I can"t recommend it highly enough, this was special, an amazing way to see the highlands, an amazing way to spend time with your family and amazing hosts! Thank you we will be making this a regular family trip! x March 2023
