We bought this camper 13 years ago as it was a perfect size for what we wanted. It drives like a car and is just small enough to fit in most normal car parks. It has an uprated engine so you will spend most of your time in 5th or 6th gear. It contains all the essential extras such as; a water flushing loo, shower, fridge (gas, battery and AC powered) and cooking facilities including a grill. We have had many adventures in this van including weeks away in France. There is loads of storage space, even for some larger items under the bed in the 'garage'.
It is 'winterised' in that it is fully insulated, has double glazed windows in the camper area and diesel powered heating so you'll never run out of gas. We have been out in this over the New Year in snow and ice and with a good quality duvet we have been snug as bugs.
There is a gas powered boiler to provide hot water and a spare cylinder is provided to ensure you don't run out. There is also a good sized fridge, powered by DC (with engine running), AC when hooked up or gas. It is beautifully designed to maximise the space available with all these facilities and we have done our best to keep it in good condition. The Queen size bed is very comfortable and is 6' long and easily fits two adults with space to spare. A bike rack is fitted on the back with space for two bikes. The bed can be left in-situ as the living area is separate so you can be in bed within minutes of stopping at the camp site. This Sports version has easy shut blinds all round so no gaps in the curtains. In fact, with the blinds shut the camper leaks virtually no light at all!
The bed is at the rear and can be left set up so no annoying bed unmaking and making everyday and there’s still the dining/sitting area at the front.
We have done an awful lot of 'free-camping' in this vehicle as it has everything you need. There is an AC hook up but we have never been bothered about having too many tech gadgets so have never really used it. The awning is of a good size and very easy to put out to protect from the sun or the rain
We have ample space to store your car on our property, but it is parked there at your own risk, we cannot accept any liability for it.
You will also have membership of Brit Stops which gives you access to hundreds of free places to camp the van overnight.
You will need to bring pillows, duvet, and towels. Bedsheet is provided.
