Vanture – 2p Volkswagen bus from 2011

This Vanture camper van offers everything for great camping on campsites but also to go off-grid. You only need to pack your clothes and toiletry bag, the rest is taken care of.

The bus can go off-grid because of the solar panel, inverter and 200Ah lithium battery. This keeps the fridge cold, pumps water through the tap and offers the possibility to charge devices. With the gas hob you are also equipped to heat up food.

The Volkswagen Crafter is a L2H2 version, which makes it 1.9M high inside. Unless you are taller than that, you can stand and walk freely. It is divided in such a way that it is a spacious camper van. No suffocating crowds. Enough space to store your own things in the benches, shelf above the driving cabin and in the garage. The bed is easy to slide out to 140x187. We still want to convert this to 187 x 190.

The bus is insulated with Armaflex 13mm to partially counteract noise, heat & cold. A window insulation set is also easy to place on the inside using suction cups. Both above the bed and in the kitchenette there is a skylight (so 2). In the kitchenette the window has a fan so that it blows nicely. Mosquitoes and/or sun stay outside with the pleats.

The bus drives very comfortably. The driver's seat is sprung. The engine is powerful, accelerates well, 140 hp and drives easily 130 km/h. With the reversing camera, blind spot mirrors and parking sensors there is a good overview around the camper bus. From the driving cabin you can walk directly into the living space. Not a must for us but turned out to be unexpectedly very handy.

In addition to the completed list below, the following electrical devices are present. These can only be used if shore power is connected:
Kettle, coffee maker, 3L boiler, electric griddle, electric frying pan & microwave.

Furthermore:
Wash basin with clean water tank, reel 7M, shore power cable 28M, cleaning supplies, cooking oil, pepper/salt, 6 (dimmable) spotlights, 2 reading lamps, light at the exit, 4 USB connections and 6 220V connections, fire extinguisher, tow bar with bicycle carrier (optional) and an outdoor shower on battery.

A privacy tent for the outdoor shower is still on its way.

All in all a camper van that takes you carefree to where you want to enjoy. Again; grab your toiletry bag & clothes and you are ready to go.
